About the event
Back by request, master science teacher John MacLaren offers this holiday class featuring principles of engineering. First, make your marshmallow blaster out of PVC pipe. Then, decorate it with a favorite design or logo - maybe a superhero or a coatof-arms. After you create a coordinating shield to go with your blaster, we will be ready to go outside for the “fluffy” battle of the century. Consult with your teammates to develop a strategy to outsmart your opponents during the “Marshmallow War of the Century” – Is anyone able to defeat Mr. MacLaren? Each student takes home a holiday stocking with candy and toys. It will be a BLAST!
